Training

As a result of training over 14,000 dogs during my 35 plus year career as a dog obedience instructor, I have developed an effective method of training.

Our training method involves using a balance of praise and love as a motivator, not treats. With this method of training, dogs are truly trained and not just kitchen trained. All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations.  If you are not already a customer of Pals For Pups, please fill out this registration packet and bring with you to register at the Roselle facility. If you would like to register at the other locations that we teach at, you can register by calling the applicable phone numbers provided.

One handler per dog in class but entire family is welcome to attend.

Classes are held at three locations: Pals for Pups, Elk Grove Park District Hattendorf Center, and Schaumburg Park District Meineke Center.

Dogs are taught to heel without pulling, automatic sits, sit and down stay during distractions while the handlers are out of sight, come immediately when called off leash, stand stay.
